Believing in Jesus Christ as Savior provides amazing advantages in this life!
Eternal life with God begins with belief in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your SIN thru the death, blood, & resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Non-believers live a life of impending eternal death. Believers exchange the deeds of the flesh for the fruit of the Spirit.
“Deeds of the flesh are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, & things like these.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; … those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions & desires.” (Gal 5:19-23)
While non-believers have a deceitful heart (Jeremiah 17:9), believers receive a new heart (Jer 24:7, Ezk 11:19) with Christ indwelling (Eph 3:17).
Additionally, Romans 8:9–11:
“However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.
If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
