Running on Faith Weekday Devotions:
Several inquired how I read the Bible quickly. It’s simply training the brain.
I once taught Reading Dynamics across America. One gentleman expressed frustration in trying to learn to see each word of the whole page at once. He formerly started as a NBA point guard. We discussed how he could see miniscule details across the whole court while sprinting.
Similarly, I played 3rd string point guard at Gaylord Grade School in the same gym as Wally Frank played in before he moved to Norton. At Kansas State, Wally played for Tex Winter who later won 9 NBA championships w/Phil Jackson. Wally teamed with Bob Boozer & others to defeat teams w/Wilt Chamberlin & Oscar Robertson; all three of whom later starred in the NBA. As you can see, other than taller players, GGS was similar to the NBA.
Reading thru the Bible rapidly also allows you to powerfully see the whole Bible story, including minute details, at once. Try it!
