Running on Faith Weekday Devotions:
Is 29:13-16 “The Lord said, ‘Because this people draw near w/their words & honor Me w/their lip service, But they remove their hearts far from Me, & their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote (memorized tradition), …the wisdom of their wise men will perish, the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed.’
Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the Lord, & whose deeds are done in a dark place & say, ‘Who sees us?’ or ‘Who knows us?’
You turn things around! Shall the potter (God) be considered as equal with the clay (man), That what is made would say to its maker, ‘He did not make me’; Or what is formed (man) say to him who formed it (God), ‘He has no understanding’?”
Do you deny or believe God’s word?
Does your love for the Lord continually gush from your heart, mind, & soul?
Do you worship & pray with bland, memorized repetition; or w/full-throttle passion from YOUR HEART?
