John 15:4–5: “Abide in Me (Jesus), & I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me & I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
I read & recited this passage numerous times everyday while enduring 80 to 100 miles/week with 2X intervals/wk in the brutal winter of 1995 in preparation (25M in -30F windchill) for my 1st Boston.
I continually focused on my God confidence. I also silently repeated this passage while running 5:02 to 5:08 pace heading towards Beantown.
I am reminded of God Confidence Every. Day. that I write these Devotions to send to you. Without Christ I am inadequate, I am nothing, in everything!!
Whatever challenges you face, do so with Jesus Confidence. Seek & Trust Him!!
