Proseuchomai: General word for prayer – Used by Jesus to display the “Lord’s Prayer” that is always directed to God. Ex James 5:17-18 – “Ask” – Elijah asking God
Deomai: (Mt 9:38) – Pleading, Emphasizes a Person’s Need, “Beseech” – Imperative, a command
Prayer is about Knowing God!
Love – God answered the prayer
Grace – I don’t deserve it
Wisdom – God pulled it off
