Gideon Series: 3 of 3
Judges 7:1–2: “Then Gideon & his people, rose early & camped beside the spring of Harod; & the camp of Midian was on the north side of them by the hill of Moreh in the valley.
The Lord said to Gideon, “The people who are with you are too many for Me to give Midian into their hands, for Israel would become boastful, saying, ‘My own power has delivered me.'”
Gideon’s army was reduced from 32K men to 300 men to fight an enemy as numerous as locusts; w/millions of camels.”
The 300 surrounded the enemy camp & blew their trumpets. God led them to victory over 100s of 1000s of the enemy & received all the glory!!
God often places us in seemingly hopeless circumstances so that we recognize our complete dependence on Him for victory.
In victory, do you praise yourself & others, or God?
Who gave you your opportunities & abilities, & placed amazing people in your life?
Who made those people amazing?
It’s ALL God!!
