1 Peter 5:6–7: “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”
Ps 55:22: “Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.”
When we humble ourselves before the Lord, we know Him as the holy & righteous God of all creation. We know that He will always care & provide for us.
Mt 6:25: “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good TO THOSE who love God, TO THOSE who are called according to His purpose.” (Ro 8:28)
And we know “the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Php 4:7)
