Ps 118:19–22, 24: “Open to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord; The righteous will enter through it.” (c.f. Mt 7:13-14)
“This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Conversely, “Worry is contrary to God.” ~Martin Luther
Thru-out the Bible, God opposes complainers. This displays lack of faith in & knowledge of God.
Yes, 2020 is challenging. So is every year. As Congo told me years ago, “Don’t feel sorry for yourself, right Rick Meyer.”
Also, Charlie Gibbs advised those feeling snubbed, etc. “Don’t walk around with a ‘pooched lip’. Focus on Christ.”
Instead of feeling sorry for ourselves, walking around with a ‘pooched lip’, & worrying, focus on our Savior Jesus Christ.
REJOICE in this day that HE has made, trusting in Him for all of your needs, concerns, & delights.
Write &/or verbalize >10 things to REJOICE & be glad in TODAY.
