2 Ti 1:8–9: “…but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God…”
I listened to an old Billy Graham sermon while traveling last week. “…conversely,in the New Testament times & today, obedience to Jesus Christ leads to suffering.”
Jn 15:20–21: “If they persecuted Me (Jesus), they will also persecute you….”
2 Ti 2:3: “Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”
1 Peter 1:6: “In this you greatly rejoice, you have been distressed by various (persecutions)”
Ph 1:29: “For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake”
1 Pt 4:14: “If you are (mocked) for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory & of God rests on you.”
2X I was told to reject Christianity or lose my job. I am NOT joking, nor were they. My soul is not for sale! Is yours?
