Running on Faith Weekday Devotions: Everything for Christ

Colossians 3:17: “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”

Will you join me in rhetorically asking how well everything I/you do aligns/correlates with the name, the character, of Jesus?

And, how well do we give Thanks through Jesus to God the Father?

Rhetorically, do our eyes, face, thoughts, spoken & written words, vocal tonality, gestures, touch, and all else that I am missing represent & reflect Christ to all whom we encounter thru-out each day?

Do we give our all, our ‘all’ is sometimes more than other times, in everything? This includes the necessary rest.

Speaking of doing one’s best and being guided by their faith in Jesus Christ, how about Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes & the rest of the Super Bowl Champs, the Kansas City Chiefs!!

This approach does not guarantee “winning.” It does yield peace, contentment and glorifying Jesus Christ.
