Psalm 37:4: “Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.”
We delight ourselves in the Lord by striving to please Jesus Christ. We repent of our sin and know that belief in Jesus for forgiveness is the only way to eternal salvation.
The Holy Spirit takes up residence in our heart, mind, & soul. This gives us the fruit (singular) of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). We know inner-peace & joy. We, thru Christ, extend grace & mercy to others. We’re free of envy, jealousy, & the deeds of the flesh.
We seek the Lord with our every ounce of spiritual energy. We beg that we desire only what aligns w/His will. These WILL align with scripture; you will have NO “Yeah, but…”
Beg God to remove all desires that oppose His desires for you & us…individually & corporately.
This day and every day, fervently cry out, “Lord, saturate my heart with only Your desires.” The Lord Jesus Christ will deliver!!
