Re: Jesus reveals the Father on earth (John 17:4)
Matthew 9:27–30: “… two blind men followed Jesus, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’ Jesus touched their eyes, ‘It shall be done to you according to your faith.’ And their eyes were opened…”
Isaiah 9:2: “The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them.” (Mt 4:16; Lk 1:79; Eph 5:7-9)
Is 35:5; 42:18: “Then the eyes of the blind will be opened…” “…And look, you blind, that you may see.”
John 8:12: “Jesus spoke, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
Jesus reveals the Father thru healing the blind by:
Displaying God’s power,
Fulfilling OT prophecy,
Showing that it is God who empowers our soul’s ability to see the Light of the world.
As you study the Bible, note how Jesus reveals the Father; physically and spiritually.
