Always Trust God!
Remember, as the Creator of Everything, He reigns above, outside of, all boundaries & dimensions such as Time, distance, & space. All of creation obeys His commands.
Luke 5:4–6: “When He (Jesus) had finished speaking, He said to Simon, ‘Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.’ Simon answered and said, ‘Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets.’ When they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break;”
How did the disciples respond?
Luke 5:7–10: “so they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the
9 For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon.”
How do you respond to “full nets”?
Do you pontificate or are you, like Peter and his companions, seized with amazement and recognition that your undeserving of anything good because of being sinful?
Remember, every “empty net” & every “full net” is from the Lord when we honor, serve, & obey Him. This should keep us all incredibly humble.
Avoid letting past “success” or “failure” inflate your ego or discourage you. Instead, continually, humbly, & gratefully focus on Jesus Christ. Always trust, honor, serve, & obey Him!
